Afadhali Diallo, a fourth year student at the National University of Rwanda came in the second place in the 2012 International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) Essay Competition.
Diallo won the second place behind Beatrice Naa Norley Addo from Ghana and Marouen Ben Guebila fromTunisia who came in the third place.
The theme of the competition was “Global Pharmacy Career Paths”.
IPSF Essay Competition aims at identifying and encouraging potential successful pharmacists at an early stage of their careers to be proactive, idealistic and passionate about their thoughts towards Pharmacy profession.
The best three winners will be granted a free registration and accommodation to attend the first IPSF African Pharmaceutical Symposium (AFPS) which will take place in Algiers, Algeria.
AFPS has also offered free accommodation to the same winners during the July 2012 IPSF 58th World Congress in Hurghada, Egypt. These winners will be also awarded certificates of recognition during the closing ceremony of the 58th IPSF World Congress.
