Rwanda : Titanic tragedy clicks at 100years, America venerates


It’s been 100 years since 1,500 people sunk and died in Titanic ship that was shipping from Europe to United State of America.

Titanic struck an iceberg broke into two and sunk to the bottom of the water in Northern Atlantic Ocean.

Titanic remains photos that were taken in 2004 were displayed before the Memorial Day on Sunday April 15th 2012.

 

In the photos are clothes, shoes and other materials of the victims. Thousands of relatives of the victims, friends and families gathered to remember their loved ones by throwing flowers onto where Titanic sunk in North Atlantic Ocean.

James Cameron, one of the people that took photos for Titanic film use visited the Titanic remains 33 times and says that they never saw the human bodies.

 

In United States of America, a policy was passed that prevents various researchers from flocking the place where Titanic remains are lying to take photos.

Out of 1309 people that turned up to commemorate, over 50 were related to the deceased.

Titanic ship sunk between United States of America, Canada and England plan to sign an agreement concerning preserving the place where Titanic remains are lying because USA alone has no authority over this place.

Patricia Watts, a retired teacher aged 81 with her husband were holding a photo of her grandfather George Mackie who lost his life in Titanic at 34 yrs of age.
